Privacy Policy

1.1 Information We Do NOT Collect

We explicitly do not collect any user data. We do not collect device identifiers, location information, contacts, usage logs, or any other personal information. Dreamur does not use any analytics SDK, crash reporting service, or third-party tracking.

1.2 Information You Create

When you record a dream, your voice is captured by the device microphone and transcribed locally using iOS Speech Framework. The original audio is discarded immediately after transcription — it is never stored, uploaded, or sent anywhere. The resulting dream text is stored locally on your device only.

2.1 Local-Only Storage

All data you create in Dreamur — dream transcripts, Jungian archetype labels, emotional tags, and interpretation notes — is stored exclusively on your device. It is never uploaded to any external server, cloud service, or backup endpoint.

2.2 On-Device AI Features

Dreamur uses a local AI model (Qwen3.5-0.8B) running entirely on your device for all AI features: dream extraction, Jungian archetype mapping, emotional tone analysis, and interpretation generation. Your dream content is processed locally and is never transmitted to any external server.

All data you create in Dreamur is stored locally on your device. We do not store any of your data on external servers. We do not use iCloud, CloudKit, or any cloud backup service.

You can export all your dream records as a backup file from Settings. You can also import a previously exported file to restore your data. This gives you full control over your data portability.

Uninstalling the app will remove all locally stored data automatically. Note: uninstalling does not leave residual data on external servers because none is stored there.

Apple App Store IAP: Dreamur uses Apple's In-App Purchase service for the one-time purchase (Dreamur Plus lifetime unlock). We do not store any payment information. All transactions are handled by Apple.

Local data is stored with device-level encryption.

We do not create user accounts and do not store any personally identifiable information. There is no email collection, no social login, and no third-party authentication.

This app is suitable for users aged 4 and above.

If we discover that personal information from users under the age of 13 has been inadvertently collected, it will be deleted immediately upon detection.

Delete data: You can delete individual dream records directly within the app, or clear all data from Settings. Uninstalling the app will also remove all locally stored data.

Export data: You can export all your dream records as a backup file from Settings at any time.

Significant changes to this Privacy Policy will be announced through in-app notifications. The date at the top of this page indicates when the policy was last revised.
